Message from Principal

Babu Ram Banjade
Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, Chainpur, Chitwan run under the aegis of Nepalese Army Welfare Fund is one of the best educational destinations for the children of both Nepal Army Families and the civilians.
Located in a serene site with a delightful learning atmosphere, the Mahavidyalaya is catering to the needs of the 21st century learners with the optimum utilization of the available resources. With an aim of producing the patriotic, self-reliant and responsible citizens, the Mahavidyalaya has been rigorously putting her efforts in ensuring total quality in curricular, extra-curricular and co-currricular activities from grade 6 to grade 12. As a residential school, the Mahavidyalaya has been accommodating the largest chunk of the students at her well-facilitated hostels where the students are provided both pastoral and academic care by the dedicated faculty, army staff and non-teaching staff creating a homely environment. The guiding principle of the Mahavidyalaya is 'Gyanena Paramo Sewa'. Besides, we also put our efforts in updating the parents/guardians with the important activities and events through the school website and other possible media.
The well-qualified, experienced and the dedicated teaching staff, non-teaching staff, the supportive army staff, the valued parents and the disciplined students are the assets of the Mahavidyalaya that have been ensuring quality output since her inception. Keeping the individual differences and individualized pedagogy at the centre, we focus on competencies, soft skills and ICT skills specified by National Curriculum Framework with the additional knowledge and skills that are required for the day to day life of the children.
I am very sure that the collective efforts of the Mahavidyalaya family and the valued parents/guardians will certainly help achieve our goals of meeting the needs of the 21st century learners. I am very optimistic about the support and co-operation from all the stakeholders in this regard.
